SAN Boot
SAN Boot is a compute-storage separation solution for diskless servers on HCI platforms. It enables OS deployment on external FC/FCoE storage. By loading system partitions into memory for runtime execution, it delivers high availability and reliable deployment for system volumes.
This solution helps cut hardware costs by 10% to 15% via diskless server deployment. Its offline protection mechanism also prevents host downtime caused by storage anomalies. Combined with visualized alarms and dedicated recovery scripts, it fully ensures business continuity and keeps operational risks under control.

Sangfor recommends that all operation and maintenance (O&M) be performed via the SCP platform. For details on other new features, please refer to SCP 6.11.3 New Features.
