As shown in the following figure, Sangfor's Athena NGFW firewall and Microsoft Azure's virtual network gateway are connected to the Internet as the enterprise's HQ gateway and branch gateway, respectively. An IPsec VPN tunnel in route mode is established between the Athena NGFW firewall and Microsoft Azure's virtual network gateway to secure communication between the PC connected to the Athena NGFW firewall and the virtual machine inside Microsoft Azure.
