SCP and HCI provide OpenAPIs for third-party users to manage basic computing, network, storage, and other resources, including snapshots, backup resources and (hot-added) virtual disks required for agentless backup, facilitating platform management and O&M.

All OpenAPIs provided by SCP and HCI are Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs that can be called via HTTPS requests.
