Scenario

You can use this feature to check the environment before expanding a cluster or datastore.

Steps

(1) Expand a cluster

1. Enter aDeploy and click the Pre-change Check tab. Then, click Pre-expansion Check.

2. In the pop-up window, enter the cluster information and click Log In.

3. In the Pre-expansion Check pop-up window, select Cluster Expansion.

4. In the Select pop-up window, enter information of the node to be added and click Start Check.

(2) Expand a datastore

1. Enter aDeploy and click the Pre-change Check tab. Then, click Pre-expansion Check.

2. In the pop-up window, enter the cluster information and click Log In.
3. In the Pre-expansion Check pop-up window, select Datastore Expansion.

4. In the Select Disk pop-up window, select a datastore ID.

5. Then, select a disk and click Start Check.
