This tool allows you to collect environment information, such as CPU, memory, network traffic, and disk I/O by using an agent, which supports Windows 7 x86-32/64 and later, Linux kernel (x86-32/64) later than 2.6.23, and Linux kernel (Arm) later than 2.6.23. To use this tool, you need to turn off the Windows firewall for connection between aDeploy on your PC and the aDeploy agent.
Steps
Enter aDeploy and click the Toolkit tab.
In the Information Query and Collection section, click Pre-sales Selection. In the pop-up window, select Agree to collect and click OK. On the displayed page, click Create.
Enter the project name, specify the collection frequency and cycle for the configuration items, and click OK.
Download, install, and run the aDeploy agent based on the operating system to connect to aDeploy.
Detailed instructions for aDeploy agent installation are provided in the following document:
Click the name of the created project to enter the Details page, select the node whose information is to be collected, and click Start Collection in the Operation column or above the node list.
After information is collected, select the node as needed and click Download Results above the node list. You can also download results on the Data Collection Project page. The downloaded file is a ZIP file that needs to be decompressed.
After results are downloaded, click Clear Environment above the node list.
Delete the project or node.
Handle errors:
If the current aDeploy PC (PC 1) is disconnected, the node information collection project can be migrated to another aDeploy PC (PC 2). Make sure that the two PCs have the same network settings. Perform the following steps to migrate the project:
(1) Export the project, configure PC 2 to have the same network settings as PC 1, and turn off the firewall for PC 2.
(2) Import the downloaded project file to PC 2, and click the project name to view the collection details.
Notes:
(1) If you perform environment clearing without downloading the results, the clearing progress may be inaccurate.
(2) Wait for one to three minutes after environment clearing before downloading the results.
(3) If you download results after environment clearing completes, the download progress may be inaccurate.
