Allow SSD

{{ $t('productDocDetail.updateTime') }}: 2026-01-16

Scenario

When creating a virtual datastore, you need to check whether your SSDs are supported. If not, use aDeploy to allow them. If connected to the network, aDeploy automatically obtains the SSD whitelist, which indicates the compatible SSDs for the current HCI version and server type. If an SSD is compatible, submit its information; if it is incompatible, click Allow SSD to submit its information to a Sangfor technical support representative for review.

Notes

  1. The allow SSD feature can only be used normally after updating the online whitelist while connected to the Internet.
  1. SSDs not in the whitelist need to be submitted to a Sangfor technical support representative for review, which takes about two hours. In urgent cases, call +60 12 711 7129 (7511) to accelerate the review process.

Steps

  1. Enter aDeploy and click the Toolkit tab.

  1. In the Installation and Modification section, click Allow SSD.

  1. In the pop-up window, enter the cluster information and click Log In.

  1. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  1. If aDeploy is not connected to the Internet, click Allow SSD in the Operation column. In the pop-up window, scan the QR code, enter the obtained verification code, and click OK.
