Sangfor SCP platform will monitor the platform and virtual machine in real-time according to the alarm setting, and all generated alerts will be recorded. Administrators can view the latest alerts or old alerts according to actual need.

Alerts View

1. Login to the SCP and navigate to Monitor Center > Alerts to view the alerts.
2. You can view the real-time alerts and alert history on this page. Include Operations Alerts and Security Alerts. You can filter the alerts log by clicking the Filter button.

Alert Policies

1. Login to the SCP admin portal, navigate to Monitor Center > Alerts, and click Alert Policies there are many built-in alerts policies for Platform, VM, Network, Node, Storage and Security. You can customize the condition for those by clicking the Create button (except security).

Notification Policies

Alert supports configuring alert notifications through email.

1. Login to the SCP admin portal, navigate to Monitor Center > Alerts, and click Notification Policies there is a built-in policy if you don’t want to use it you can click the disable button.
2. Click the Create button, fill in the policy name check select Enable for the status. Alert Trigger Policy check Enable and select the alert policy.
3. Risk Policy: you can select All or Custom. If you select custom you need to select the alert policy.

Alert Severity: Provide All and Custom option, if selected custom there are three levels you can choice High, Medium and Low.

4. Select the who can receive the notification. In the Recipients field select the account to receive the notification.
5. Select Email as the Method.
6. After enabling the Repeat, if an alert is not confirmed or remains pending for a period of time, the recipients will be notified repeatedly.
