Permission Policies

Super admin can grant different users and organization administrators more than 100 permissions on resources such as VMs, resource pools, and NFVs.

Precautions:

Super admin can grant permissions to platform administrators but not tenants. The tenant can grant permissions to tenant co-administrators but not tenant users.

Prerequisites:

Permission policies are available on SCP 6.9.0 and later versions.

Steps

  1. Go to Users and Access Management > Permission Policies you can view the five permission policy templates, namely security administrator, aSEC administrator, audit administrator, aNI administrator, and system administrator. Click one of them to view the associated permissions.
  2. Click New to create a policy. In Policy Content filed you can define the related resource and VM Permission. Then
  1. Associate new policy with a user. Fill in the name and describe click Save & Associate with User in the new page select a user click OK. Or you can just click Finish then go back to Permission Policies page locate the new create policy click Associate with Users.
