Real-time alert notifications are critical for a proactive security response, enabling administrators to act immediately on high-severity events.

Email Server Setup:

1. Navigate to System > Alerts > Notification.
2. If an SMTP server is not configured, click Setting next to "Email Notification".
3. Enter your mail server details, including:
   1. Server Address and Port.
   2. Sender Address.
   3. Authentication credentials if required.
4. Click OK to save the mail server configuration.

Enable Email Alerts:

1. On the Email Notifications page, check the Send Alerts to Email Addresses checkbox.
2. Click New to add one or more recipient email addresses.
3. Under the Platform Alert Notification section, select which alert severities should trigger an email. It is highly recommended to enable notifications for at least Critical Alerts.
4. Click Save.
