Step 1: Insert the disk into the host and ensure the host can recognize the disk.
Step 2: login HCI go to System > Health Check Perform a healthy check. If there are any unnormal items need to be fixed first.
Step 3: Click storage > summary to check whether on going task.
Step 4: In Storage > Virtual Storage, click on Expand Capacity and select the volume you want to expand.
Step 5: Select nodes. Select the node that has new disks that you expect to add to aSAN.
Step 6: Select disks. Select the disks you expect to add to aSAN.
Step 7: Verify disks usage. According to the disks selected in step 6, HCI will display a disk group configured based on best practices. If the disk group is not matching the planning, you can adjust the disk groups configure by clicking Edit Disk Group. Configure hard disks and hard disk groups and then make a detailed usage plan for each node's disk. The system will automatically detect the disks of all nodes in the cluster.

The page displays virtual storage configurations, including nodes number, available raw capacity, 2-replica storage capacity, 2-replica storage capacity, and the total number of disks and disk groups. After confirming configurations, click OK. Then, input the administrator account password click OK. Then, waiting for the vs imitation process complete.
