Steps:

Steps 1: Select resource pool. Login to SCP go to Reliability > VM Scheduling > Scheduling Policies select the resource pool

Steps 2: Click New fill in the policy name.

Steps 3: Select the Policy Type. For different policy types of the configuration is different.

1. VM-VM Affinity:

Automation Level: You can select Perfer to or must run on the same node.

Virtual Machine: Select the VMs will apply for the current policy.

Status: here you can select enable or disable the current policy.

Click OK to complete the policy configuration.

2. VM-VM Anti-Affinity:

Automation Level: You can select Perfer to or must run on different node

Virtual Machine: Select the VMs will apply for the current policy.

Status: here you can select enable or disable the current policy.

Click OK to complete the policy configuration.

3. VM Group Anti-Affinity:

Automation Level: Virtual machines in the selected VM groups must run on different nodes (those in the same VM group must run on the same node cannot be set).

Virtual Group: Select the VM groups to apply for the current policy.

Status: here you can select enable or disable the current policy.

Click OK to complete the policy configuration.

4. VM-Host Affinity:

Automation Level: You can select Perfer to or must run on nodes in a specified host group.

VM Group: Select the VM groups to apply for the current policy.

Hosts Group: Select the host groups to apply for the current policy

Status: here you can select enable or disable the current policy.

Click OK to complete the policy configuration.
