Business network disconnects will impact the business.

Steps:

Step 1: Login to HCI edit the virtual machine, confirm that in the HA filed Restart VM on another node fails is checked, the running location is Host A, the storage location is virtual storage or external storage, and the virtual machine is connected to the “port group 1“directly.

Step 2: Boot up the virtual machine, configure the virtual machine's IP address to ensure normal communication with a physical PC. The virtual machine should be pingable from the physical PC.

Step 3: Login to SCP, under the Reliability > HA > Platform in the Business Network Disconnection filed select Hot-Migrate VM.

Step 4: From a PC through” port group 1“, continuously ping the virtual machine's IP address. Disconnect the network cable of the business network interface on Host A.

Result: Ping packet loss is within 2 packets and back to normal and the VM migrates to another node.
