To manage VMware, license of aHM must be activated.
HCI can access Ports 443 and 902 of VMware.
A vCenter account requires administrator privileges.
As of the current version, SCP 6.10.0 only supports vCenter versions up to 8.0.
Steps:
Step 1.Log in to Sangfor SCP, click the three-line icon in the upper-left corner, and then select Resource Center.
Step 2.Click the icon, select Resource Center > Resource Pools > New.
Step 3.In the Basics part, enter the Name for the VMware resource, select VMware as the Type, enter the VCenter IP in the Management IP field. In the Account section, input the vCenter login credentials (Username and Password), keep the Port as 443, then click Next.
Step 4.Here you will see the storage attached to the VCenter, edit the storage tag as follows: select the High-Performance Storage for the FC iSCSI and local storage, for the other types of storage recommend selecting Capacity Sensitive Storage, then click Next.
Step 5.Confirm everything is correct, then click OK.
Step 6.After a short while, you will see the VMware resource in the Resource Pools.
