Below are the authorization types and their functions categorized by functional modules:

1. Compute Virtualization (aSV): Grants authorization for virtualization of computing functions, allowing the platform to perform operations such as creating, managing, and running virtual machines. It virtualizes computing resources to improve resource utilization.
2. Continuous Data Protection (CDP): Primarily used for continuous data protection and backup, ensuring the security and integrity of data. It allows timely recovery in case of data loss or corruption.
3. Network Virtualization (aNET): Grants authorization for network virtualization, enabling flexible allocation and management of network resources, such as creating, configuring, and isolating virtual networks, thus improving network scalability and flexibility.
4. Heterogeneous Virtualization Management (aHM): Used to manage virtualization resources in heterogeneous environments, enabling the platform to support and manage various architectures and types of virtualization devices and systems, thereby improving the overall resource utilization efficiency.
5. Storage Virtualization (aSAN): Virtualizes storage resources, integrating multiple physical storage devices into a unified virtual storage pool, enabling flexible allocation and efficient use of storage resources.

9. Application Delivery (vAD): Grants authorization for application delivery functionality, optimizing application access and delivery to improve performance and availability, such as SSL offloading, TCP one-way acceleration, HTTP caching, and intelligent DNS, enhancing user experience.
10. SSL VPN: Grants authorization to use SSL VPN functionality, establishing a secure virtual private network via SSL protocol, allowing users to securely access internal network resources remotely, ensuring data transmission security in scenarios like remote work.
11. WAN Optimization (wOC): Grants authorization for wide-area network (WAN) optimization, improving WAN transmission performance by reducing network delays, packet loss, and other issues, enhancing the access speed and stability of business systems in WAN environments.
12. Database Security Management and Auditing System (vDAS): Grants authorization for database security management and auditing features, enabling security auditing and monitoring of database operations, ensuring database security, and promptly identifying and handling potential security risks.

Steps:

Step 1: Go to System > Licensing > Platform License and click Activate License on the new page click Export Device Info to get the device information then send this device information to local sangfor team to get the application the license file.

Step 2: After getting the license file, log in to the platform to import device information. Login to SCP go to System > Licensing > Platform License and click Activate License on the new page click   in the Import the license key file filed select the license file import it.
