For a cluster size of more than 24 nodes, it is recommended to use the hardware with good performance as the cluster controller of the control node.
In a aSAN scenario when two nodes are expanded to more than three nodes, the virtual machine must be shut down because an arbitration mechanism needs to be established.
For the new node’s requirements please refer to section 4.3.1 and section 4.3.2.
Steps
Step1: Navigate to Nodes > Nodes > Add New Node.
Step2: On the following page, select a node you want to add to the cluster, click the node’s IP address and input the admin account and its password.
If the node has not appeared on the page, you can fill in the node’s IP address manually by clicking the Add New Node button. In the filed Add host(s) select one you can add one node at a time, select Multiple fills in the IP address range of the node in the Node IP filed then you also need fill in the netmask and super account admin and its password. You can add multiple nodes at the same time.
Once the node is chosen, the node icon turns green, indicating the node can be added to the cluster. Click Next there will be a prompt to health check page. After the health check is completed click Next, on the new page you can confirm the information about the new node. Click OK and wait for the process complete.
