Introduction

SCP allows you to configure an SMTP server to push alerts by email, notifying customers of the latest cluster status.

Prerequisites

An SMTP server is configured.

Precautions

1. If email password-based authentication failed, try again with the email client authorization code.
2. When DNS resolution is not configured for the SCP IP address, the SMTP server address must be an IP address.
3. 如果使用邮箱密码验证失败、请使用邮箱客户端授权码进行验证。(removed)

Procedure

1. Log in to SCP and go to Resources > System > System > SMS & SMTP > SMTP Server.
2. Enter the email address and SMTP server address. If you need to authenticate to the server, specify the corresponding username and password and test the connectivity.
