Create AS Policy

Function Description:

Create an AS policy to set the scaling threshold and scaling action.

Precautions:

  1. The policy associated with the AS group is not allowed to edit or deleted.
  2. When the trigger condition is set as Greater Than, you can only configure for the Add and Start action. When the trigger condition is set as Less Than, you can only configure for the Shutdown and Delete action.
  3. The threshold value monitored by the AS policy is the average value of all VMs in the AS group.

Prerequisite

N/A.

Steps:

Log in to the tenant portal, navigate Reliability > Auto Scaling, and select AS Policy. Click New to create a new AS policy.

Click OK to complete the policy creation and Associate AS Group to associate the policy to the corresponding AS group.
