Application Delivery Controller (ADC)

{{ $t('productDocDetail.updateTime') }}: 2025-12-18

Feature Description:

Tenants can create Virtual Application Delivery (vAD) devices as professional application delivery devices that can provide users with a full range of solutions, including multi-data center load balancing, multi-link load balancing, and server load balancing for users applications published.

vAD: Application delivery uses bypass mode to mount under the VPC subnet and load balance services on the same subnet. It supports functions such as one-click creation, one-click deletion, and performance tier modification under shutdown state and supports binding elastic IP.

Precautions:

  1. The vAD device image used in the tenant VPC is different from the vAD device image used in the HCI.
  2. In High-Available (HA) deployment, only two vADs connected to the same subnet are supported to deliver associated active and standby. After the association is complete, please log in to the ADC to configure the HA deployment in detail.

Prerequisite

  1. Make sure the tenant has sufficient NFV quota.
  2. Make sure the required device image is ready.

Steps:

Go to Networking, select ADC, and click New to create a vAD device. Select the Configuration and Function parameters, the Resource Pool that the device belongs to, enter the Name of the vAD, the Subnet, choose whether to bind the elastic IP, and click OK to complete the deployment of the vAD.

vAD supports HA deployment, In Advanced to associate the HA Peer.
