Features:

This feature supports exporting VMs as OVA, VMA, OVF, MF, or VMDK files. When exporting the list, you can choose to include Run Location, hostname, Scheduling Policy, Tags, CPU Clock Speed, Datastore, Storage Policy, Logical Space Used, Used Memory, Uptime, and Scheduled Policy.

Prerequisite:

The VM has been shut down.

Steps:

Log in to SCP, go to Resources > Compute > Virtual Machines, click More of the VM to be exported, and then click Export.

Select OVA, VMA, or OVF, MF, VMDK for File Format, and click Export.

If you select VMA for File Format, you can export the VM directly by clicking Export. if you select OVA, you need to select a VMware Workstation version for Software Version before exporting the VM.

Wait for the VM to generate the export file and download it.
