1. Use the Sangfor cloud DR resource estimation tool to estimate the required resources. This method is more accurate compared with other methods because data is generated based on the actual IO data and backups of VMs.

2. The source VMs for DR must be HCI VMs, and the VMs must be in the running state. If the VMs do not exist or are running on other platforms, use the offline resource estimation method.
3. The estimation tool occupies a small amount of memory of the source HCI cluster. To prevent the tool from affecting your businesses, when the computational memory usage or physical memory usage of nodes in the HCI cluster exceeds 85%, the estimation task will be terminated. Therefore, you need to check whether the source HCI cluster has sufficient memory for the estimation tool in advance.
