You can navigate to Snapshot page, click More to see Advance features.

Snapshot policies are either in manual or smart mode. Before switching the mode, please delete all snapshot policies in the current mode.

Manual Mode

You can specify the specific time or snapshot interval for creating snapshots on a weekly or daily basis.

Smart Mode

A snapshot threshold is automatically estimated to avoid compromising services. Snapshots can be created on a weekly or daily basis.

Residual Snapshot File Cleanup: Realtime

Residual snapshot files will be cleared immediately after snapshots are deleted, which can promptly free up storage space.
Delayed: Residual snapshot files will be cleared at a specified time period after snapshots are deleted, to ensure service performance, especially during peak hours.

1) Delayed cleanup is recommended if snapshots are taken on a daily basis, but snapshots may fail to be taken by an hourly snapshot policy if delayed cleanup is applied.
2) If delayed cleanup is enabled, the space occupied by residual snapshot files cannot be promptly freed up. Service failure may occur due to insufficient storage space.

Usage Threshold

Storage based snapshots will not be created as scheduled upon reaching the threshold.
