On the Snapshots page, click >Clone, and in the pop-up page, configure the virtual machine cloning by referring to the Virtual Machine Cloning section.
The cloned virtual machines will comprise a new consistency group automatically.
NIC name and shared disk UUID of new VMs will change, which may affect business services.
Impacts and Solutions
IfNIC name and shared virtual disk (virtual storage) UUIDhave changed, business services associated with original NIC or shared disk UUID may be unable to start. You can do the following:
Change NIC name: The name of the Linux VM's NIC 1 may be changed to NIC 2. Please change it to NIC1.
Change configuration associated with the shared virtual disk UUID if certain software in VM is associated with that UUID, as UUID of the new shared disk will change.
