When the cluster needs to be dismantled or the current storage volume is no longer needed, the created volume can be manually deleted.

Precaution:

Before deleting a virtual storage volume, ensure that all data on the volume has been migrated to other data storage prevents data loss.

Below are the steps to delete a volume.

Step 1: Login SCP goes to Resource Center to locate the resource pool you want to delete the virtual storage volume, click Storage > Virtual Storage > Virtual Datastores, click Delete in the Operation section.

Step 2: In the new window you will get the information what data is still contained in the datastore, please migrate that data to other data storage or delete the data before deleting the virtual storage. Check the option I am sure that all data is safely migrated and click OK.
