After the virtual storage was created successfully. Login HCI go to Storage > Virtual Storage, you can view the following information.
• Basics section
Datastore Type: show the type of the current virtual storage it is ordinary datastore or stretch datastore.
Host Count: show how many nodes have involved to this datastore.
HDDs: total number of HDDs in this datastore.
SSDs: total number of SSDs in this datastore.
Cache Space: The size of the cache disk space as a percentage of the total storage space.
VM Count: The number of virtual machines running on this virtual storage.
IO Read: Realtime speed.
IO Write: Realtime Write speed.
RDMA:RDMA status enabled or dis-enabled.
• Capacity section
The raw disk capacity, the used raw disk capacity, and the remaining allocatable space for 2 or 3 replicas.
• Storage forecast section
Detected Disks: The number of hard disks with bad sectors.
SSDs (life remaining <= 180 days): The number of SSDs with less than 180 days of lifespan remaining.
Capacity Forecast: The storage capacity growth trend.
Usage after 90 days: The storage capacity usage prediction for 90 days later.
By clicking the virtual storage name you will get a new page, by default in this page you can get the virtual storage’s IOPS, IO speed, IO latency, node hit rate average value in the past 10 minutes. By default, the average values for the past 10 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, and 7 days are provided. You can also choose specified to define your own custom time range (Time interval should not be smaller than 5 minutes).
