Based on the service characteristics of the business system, establish appropriate scheduling policies. These policies include Affinity, Anti-Affinity, VM-VM Anti-Affinity Groups, and VM-Host Affinity Groups.

• VM Affinity (Co-location): Selected VMs must run on, or are preferred to run on, the same physical host.

• VM Anti-Affinity (Separation): Selected VMs must run on, or are preferred to run on, different physical hosts.

• VM-VM Anti-Affinity Groups: VMs within the selected groups must run on different physical hosts from VMs in the other specified group(s).

• VM-Host Affinity Groups: VMs within the selected group must run on a specified set of physical hosts.
