Introduction

You can activate or close the specific shared services for a tenant and configure the bandwidth for non-storage services, thereby meeting the tenant's personalized requirements for shared services, such as activating the application center or adjusting service bandwidth.

Constraints and Restrictions

• The activation status of storage services (Example: Block Storage Service - Block Storage) cannot be changed (because they are predefined or default configurations on the platform). Only the activation statuses of non-storage services can be changed.

• The configurable bandwidth range for non-storage services is 1-9999 Mbps. Exceeding the threshold will cause failed configuration.

• After a shared service is closed, tenants cannot access it. Notifying tenants in advance is required.

Prerequisites

• The tenant must already be created (Example: A tenant created through the tenant management module).

• The shared service to be edited must already be created Tenant Shared Services page and be in normal status.

Precautions

• Before a shared service is activated, make sure that the tenant's VPC is connected to the shared service network. Otherwise, the service will be inaccessible after activation.

• The adjusted bandwidth must meet the tenant's business traffic requirements to prevent insufficient bandwidth affecting service access or excessive bandwidth wasting resources.

• Before a shared service is closed, make sure that no tenant services depend on it to prevent business interruption.

Steps

Step 1.Log in to SCP and go to the Shared Service Network > Tenant Shared Services page.

Step 2.Select the target tenant in the tenant list on the left, click Edit in the Operation column, and the Edit Tenant Shared Services pop-up window appears.
