You can delete the configuration of a shared service that is no longer in use to release resources. This operation applies to scenarios such as service decommissioning or business termination.
Constraints and Restrictions
• If the shared service is activated for tenants, first notify the tenants to stop the service. Otherwise, service deletion will prevent tenant access and affect business.
• Predefined services (Example: Kubernetes Engine, Block Storage Service - Block Storage) on the platform cannot be deleted. Only the shared services customized by users can be deleted.
• Once deleted, the shared service configuration cannot be restored. Backing up the configuration information in advance is required.
Prerequisites
• Make sure that the shared service is not associated with any records of service activation for tenants. You can check it through the tenant shared service overview.
• The super admin permissions are required for deletion, and the necessity of the deletion operation must be confirmed.
Precautions
• Notify all tenants that depend on the shared service before deletion to prevent service interruption.
• If the service is the default shared service in the resource pool, first make sure that there is an alternative shared service available or that tenants have switched their access paths.
