VPC Gateway Addition
Introduction
You can specify a fixed VPC gateway for each resource pool. After a tenant is created, a VPC will be automatically created and connected to that gateway by default. This ensures unified management of tenant VPC gateways and traffic isolation.
Prerequisites
• The platform administrator has created a resource pool (such as Hygon Cluster (c86) or Intel Xen Cluster (x86)).
Constraints and Restrictions
• In SCP 6.7.0 and later, a resource pool supports multiple VPC gateways. In versions earlier than SCP 6.7.0, each resource pool supports only one VPC gateway.
• An edge can be associated with only one VPC gateway.
Steps
Step 1.Log in to SCP and go to Networking > Network Deployment > Tenant Network.
Step 2.Click VPC Gateway. The VPC Gateway pop-up window appears.
Step 3.Click Add VPC Gateway. The Add New VPC Gateway pop-up window appears.
Step 4.Select a resource pool (Example: Hygon Cluster (c86)). In the VPC Gateway drop-down list, select the target VPC gateway (such as an edge). Select Enabled for Set to Default to configure this gateway as the default gateway for the VPC created in the resource pool. Step 5. Click OK to complete the addition of the VPC gateway.
VPC Gateway Removal
Introduction
After a VPC gateway is removed, it can no longer be selected when you create VPCs. This operation applies to scenarios where unused VPC gateways need to be cleared.
Prerequisites
• At least one VPC gateway has been added and is available.
Constraints and Restrictions
• After a VPC gateway is removed, tenant VPCs that rely on this gateway can no longer use the gateway. To restore access, add the VPC gateway again.
Steps
Step 1.Log in to SCP and go to Networking > Network Deployment > Tenant Network. Step 2. Click VPC Gateway. The VPC Gateway pop-up window appears. Step 3. Find the target VPC gateway and click Remove in the Operation column.
Step 2.In the Alert pop-up window, confirm the impact and click OK to complete the removal.
VPC Gateway Editing
Introduction
You can edit a VPC gateway to modify its VLAN ID and default option settings, meeting VPC gateway configuration adjustment requirements.
Prerequisites
• At least one VPC gateway has been added and is available for editing.
Constraints and Restrictions
• When you modify the VLAN ID, ensure that the VLAN ID configured on the VPC gateway matches the VLAN ID configured and allowed on the Trunk port of the physical switch. Otherwise, VLAN conflicts or network connectivity issues will occur.
Steps
Step 1.Log in to SCP and go to Networking > Network Deployment > Tenant Network. Step 2. Click VPC Gateway. The VPC Gateway pop-up window appears.
Step 2.Find the target VPC gateway and click Edit in the Operation column. The Edit VPC Gateway pop-up window appears.
Step 3.Enter a VLAN ID in the VLAN field (optional), and select or deselect Set to Default to adjust the default gateway configuration.
Step 4.Click OK to save the changes.
