Configure Expiration Date
Introduction
Expiration date for a VM is a resource lifecycle management tool that supports customizing a duration (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days) or a specific expiration date. It is applicable in scenarios such as managing temporary test resources (Example: clear expired test VMs) and tenant resource control (limit VM usage duration for tenants). Upon expiration, an alert will be triggered on the platform, helping the administrator promptly identify and fix idle resources.
- Expiration date type: Unlimited and Specify
- Rules for expiration date to take effect: Upon expiration, only an alert will be triggered. The VM operations will not be affected. Manual fixing by the administrator is required (Example: power off or delete the VM).
