Introduction

This section describes how to quickly locate target VMs by specifying search conditions and keywords. This operation improves resource management efficiency and is suitable for scenarios where specific VMs need to be searched out accurately from a large number of VMs.

Precautions

Supported search conditions include Name, IP, Key Name, Elastic IP, and vmTools Version. Ensure the selected condition matches the keyword.

Fuzzy match by keyword is supported. You can enter incomplete information to search for related VMs.

Steps

Step 1.Log in to SCP and go to Resource Center > VMs.

Step 2.Click Name next to Search and select a search condition (such as IP or Elastic IP) in the drop-down list.

Step 3.Enter the keyword of the target VM (such as the full name, partial name, or IP segment) in the search box.

Step 4.Click the search icon or press Enter. Matched VMs will be displayed in real time in the list.
