Business Scenarios and Challenges

{{ $t('productDocDetail.updateTime') }}: 2025-12-17

As information technology construction becomes more prevalent and advanced, enterprise data centers face escalating risks and threats. Unexpected system interruptions can result in significant economic and reputational losses. Previously, IT resources have transitioned from decentralization to centralization to meet management requirements. Today, informatization typically requires a highly integrated system. However, the high integration means that any accidents can lead to business interruptions and subsequent economic losses. Data loss can also cause irreversible damage to enterprises. To ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations, a comprehensive business continuity plan is required, providing dual guarantees of high business availability and data reliability.

Nevertheless, this path of informatization construction presents challenges for enterprises, including:

  1. Business Interruptions Due to Accidents in Centralized Data Centers

According to IDC statistics, among the companies that experienced disasters in the United States in the 10 years before 2000, 55% went bankrupt at that time. Among the remaining 45%, 29% went bankrupt within two years due to data loss, and only 16% survived.

Gartner Group’s statistics indicate that among companies that experienced system shutdowns due to major disasters, two-fifths never recovered, and among the remaining companies, one-third went bankrupt within two years.

  1. Business Policy Compliance Requirements

Companies are required to consider business continuity against accidents during the information construction process, as mandated by national standards, industry standards, and enterprise standards.

  1. Business Security Against Threat of Ransomware Attacks

In light of frequent ransomware incidents in the industry, companies need to address the issue of data retrieval after ransomware attacks on their information platforms.
