SCP serves as the unified service entry point and the global control hub. Built upon a modern microservices and distributed architecture, SCP ensures high concurrency handling and system reliability, even in large-scale multi-site environments.

Unified Resource Orchestration: SCP connects downward to HCI clusters via secure APIs, abstracting physical hardware into logical Virtual Data Centers (VDCs). It manages the entire lifecycle of resources—from creation and modification to decommissioning—across geographically distributed clusters. It intelligently schedules workloads based on global resource availability and policy constraints.

Heterogeneous Compatibility: Recognizing that modern data centers are rarely homogenous, SCP is built with an open architecture. It supports the management of third-party resources, specifically:

VMware vCenter Integration: SCP can connect to vCenter servers, allowing it to discover, monitor, and manage the lifecycle of VMware VMs alongside Sangfor VMs.

Bare-Metal Management: Through IPMI and PXE integration, SCP can manage physical servers, enabling the provisioning of operating systems on bare metal and incorporating them into the unified resource view.

Operations & Maintenance (O&M): SCP integrates advanced operational capabilities. This includes multi-tenancy (logical isolation of resources per department), granular quota management, and customizable workflow approvals. It also features a "Reliability Center" for full-stack monitoring, intelligent alerting based on dynamic baselines, and automated health inspections.
