The Sangfor Cloud Data Center Solution represents a paradigm shift in enterprise IT infrastructure, moving away from traditional, siloed hardware architectures toward a fully Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC). At the core of this solution lies the Sangfor Cloud Platform (SCP), a unified management and operations platform that acts as the operating system for the data center.
SCP is designed to centrally manage one or multiple Sangfor Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) clusters. By decoupling software from hardware, the solution pools compute, storage, network, and security resources from standard x86 or ARM servers into a unified, elastic resource pool.
In this architecture, SCP provides the "Control Plane," offering a single pane of glass for resource provisioning, multi-tenant operations, heterogeneous infrastructure management (including VMware vCenter and physical servers), and disaster recovery. HCI provides the "Data Plane," delivering high-performance virtualization services (aSV, aSAN, aNET, and aSecurity) to host business workloads. This synergy enables organizations to build private or hybrid clouds that are simple to manage, evolutionarily flexible, and enterprise-grade reliable.
