Upgrade Impacts

  1. All the SCP upgrades are offline upgrades. An offline upgrade requires restarting all SCP VMs but will not affect the running production system.
  2. Due to the kernel upgrade, If SCP6.11.3 is run on HCI 6.10.0 or later, you must either enable Use CPU from Host or select a vCPU model other than core2Duo. If SCP 6.11.3 is run on an HCI version earlier than 6.10.0, you are required to enable Use CPU from Host. Please verify the SCP VM configuration and adjust it if necessary prior to the upgrade. If any vCPU settings are modified, reboot the SCP VM first before proceeding with the upgrade.
