Sangfor SCP supports the division of multiple hosts into dedicated server groups. The dedicated server group combines designated physical hosts in the cluster. It supports single or multiple computers. Computing resources between groups are isolated, and storage resources are shared within the cluster. It can be allocated to tenants or operation administrators, who exclusively share the computing resources in the group.
Precautions:
Suppose all the resource pools currently managed by SCP have been assigned to tenants or operation administrators. In that case, a new dedicated server group cannot be created, and a new resource pool needs to be expanded. If you need to allocate a dedicated server group in the private cloud scenario, please create a dedicated server group after initializing the resource pool.
Prerequisite
SCP has a brand-new resource pool that has not been allocated to tenants or operation administrators and is not running virtual machines.
Steps:
Enter the Resources Overview > Dedicated Server Groups interface and follow the process prompts to create a new server group.
