Description

For some reason (CPU and memory display are inaccurate), you may need to uninstall the vmTools and reinstall it.

Precautions

It must be uninstalled in the control panel. It is forbidden to uninstall with third-party tools.

Prerequisites

The administrator password of the virtual machine is required.

Steps

  1. Log in to the console of the virtual machine and enter the password to enter the management interface of the virtual machine.
  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Uninstall a program.

  1. Looks for the VMOptimizationTools and click Uninstall/Change.

  1. Restart the virtual machine after the uninstallation.
