Deleting Storage (High Risk)

Description

Storage needs to be removed from HCI and is no longer available for HCI.

Precautions

  1. Deleting storage from the HCI will delete the virtual machine whose datastore is the storage from the platform. After the deletion, the virtual machine will start with the None method.
  2. Both external storage and local storage can be deleted.

Prerequisites

None.

Steps

Go to Storage > Other Datastores, and select the datastore that needs to be deleted. Click on the dropdown menu and select Uninstall.
