Configuring IO Timeout Handling

Description

HCI supports setting thresholds for read and write request timeouts. When an I/O timeout is detected, the storage data will be recovered immediately.

Precautions

It is not recommended to disable this feature.

Steps

Go to Storage > Virtual Storage > Virtual Datastores > Advanced > Reliability Settings > IO Timeout Handling to specify the IO Read Latency Threshold for read request timeout handling and the Sensitivity of the TCP Connection Timeout of the storage node for write request timeout handling.
