VM NIC Traffic Limit

Description

During the peak production scenario, the QoS function can limit the NIC traffic of non-important virtual machines to ensure the smooth operation of core services or virtual machines. Sangfor HCI supports Outbound/Inbound QoS settings for a single NIC to limit the network bandwidth of virtual machines.

Precautions

  1. The outbound and inbound traffic limit range of virtual machine NIC are between 1000Kbps-20000Mbps.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Computer and, select the target virtual machine, click More > Edit to enter the configuration page.

  1. Click the NIC where the traffic needs to be limited, enter the NIC information interface, check Enable for traffic limit, set the value for outbound and inbound traffic limit, and click OK to save.
