Certificate Setting

{{ $t('productDocDetail.updateTime') }}: 2026-01-05

Description

The SSL certificate establishes an SSL secure channel between the client and the HCI device. When the client browser marks a danger warning on the HTTPS website, installing the SSL certificate can make the client trusted by the browser and remove the insecure warning. Sangfor HCI platform supports manual import of SSL certificates.

Precautions

  1. The certificate file currently only supports the .crt format. If there are certificates in other formats, they need to be converted.
  2. The upper limit of the key file size is limited to 1MB.

Prerequisites

A valid certificate file in .crt format has been obtained.

Steps

  1. Go to System > Certificate Settings in the console and import the correct .crt and .key certificates. Select Ignore certificate validity as needed. If this option is selected, you can import a certificate with a validity period of longer than 365 days. Then, click Save.

  1. It can be seen that after importing the trusted certificate, the client is trusted by the browser, and the insecurity warning is removed.
