Athena NGFW (previously known as Network Secure) provides comprehensive protection for every network perimeter, ensuring the safety of your valuable assets, data, and users from emerging threats.
The core mechanism of the Sangfor Fortigate Configuration Conversion Tool is to parse the complete Fortigate configuration file (typically in .conf or text format), extract key configuration elements such as network objects, service objects, security policies (ACL), and NAT rules, and convert them into structured data that conforms to the Sangfor NGAF HTTP API specification. After conversion, the tool automatically calls the NGAF’s open API to write the configurations directly into the target firewall, enabling fully automated import and deployment. During this process, the tool performs object deduplication, policy order validation, and name normalization, and it generates a detailed conversion log for verification. This approach eliminates the need for manual input, significantly reduces configuration errors, and ensures that the migrated policies maintain the same structure and logic as on the original Fortigate device.
Supported Conversion Types: ACLs, NAT policies, Address Objects, and Service Objects
Installation and Runtime Requirements: The configuration writing tool must be run on Windows.
