During backup, the backup data needs to be transferred from HCI to the NetBackup client and then forwarded by the client to the NetBackup media server. Therefore, the measures to improve backup performance are:

1. Select a backup data transmission network interface with sufficient bandwidth on the HCI resource pool.

2. Ensure that the network bandwidth between the HCI backup data transmission network interface and the NetBackup client is sufficient.

3. Ensure that the network bandwidth between the NetBackup client and the NetBackup media server is sufficient.

In order to improve backup performance, it is recommended that the above use 10G or higher networks.
