Product Upgrade

The upgrade of Athena EPP involves the upgrade of the Athena EPP manager or Athena EPP agent to a new version and the update of the service packs, antivirus database, and vulnerability database.

We recommend that you go to System > System > Deployment and Upgrade and enable P2P upgrade, as shown in the following figure.

This feature avoids single-channel file download from the Athena EPP manager only, which causes slow installation and upgrade and excessive bandwidth usage.

1. P2P deployment is not supported in scenarios where the Athena EPP manager is exposed to the Internet through port mapping.

2. P2P upgrade is supported for Athena EPP Windows agent installation, Athena EPP agent upgrade, and antivirus database update.
