Backup/Restore

On the Backup/Restore page, you can download and save the device configurations or import a backed-up device configuration file.

Backup Configurations: Click Download to back up the device configurations.

Restore Configurations: You can recover device configurations from a backup file. You can recover device configurations in either of the following ways:

Restore from auto backup

The device automatically backs up the configurations at midnight every day. By default, configuration files will be retained for a month. Select a configuration file and click Restore.

Restore from backup on local PC

Click Upload, select a backup file, and click Restore.

Restore to Factory Defaults: You can click Restore to Factory Defaults to restore the device's factory settings. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.

Restore to Factory Defaults is used to restore the device to factory defaults, not including logs in the data center. Cautions should be taken to use this function.

The configuration files automatically backed up by the device every morning can also be backed up to an external server via email or FTP.

Back up to mailbox: Used to email the configuration file for an automatic device backup to an external server. It is necessary to configure the email server on the IAG device in advance(An email can send a maximum of 20M attachments. When the configuration file of the device exceeds 20M, it will automatically send multiple emails by splitting).

Recipient: The email address for receiving backup files.

Subject: You can customize the email title or leave it blank.

Backup to FTP server: It is used to back up the configuration files automatically backed up by the device to an external server through FTP.

Server Address: fill in the IP address of the external FTP server used to store backup files.

Server Port: Fill in the FTP server port. The default is TCP21.

Export Path: Fill in the storage path of the FTP server backup file. The storage path does not support filling in paths that contain Chinese characters.[LCH297][ZY298]

FTP authentication: Fill in the username and password for logging in to the FTP server. If the FTP server does not require authentication, you can leave it unchecked.[ZY299]
