Service

Service is referenced on the page displayed after you choose System > Firewall > Firewall Rules or System > Objects > Service.[LCH230][A231]

On the Service page, define all types of services, including the ports and protocols used by the services. Then choose Firewall > Firewall Rules and determine the filtering rule based on the defined services or System > Objects > Service [A232][LCH233]and determine the Internet access permission based on the defined services.

Navigate to Objects > Service. The Service pane is on the right.

On the Service page, click Add. The Service window is displayed.

Service Name: specifies the name of a service to be defined.

Services: specifies the service protocol type and port number. Click TCP, UDP, ICMP, and Others in turn and enter the corresponding port in the text box in the lower part.

Click OK. The setting of a network service is complete.

After clicking Others, you can enter a protocol ID. The protocol ID 0 indicates all protocols.
