Athena SWG (formerly Internet Access Gateway) ensures visibility and control across the network, detecting risks like unauthorized access, non-compliant activities, and data leaks to manage endpoints.
If your system has deployed the document Security Management System of Vamtoo (Vamtoo-DSM) or IP-guard for file encryption protection, the encrypted files can be converted into plaintext only after the files are decrypted. IAG provides the decryption audit feature specifically for auditing the file decryption activities performed by using the aforementioned two encryption tools.
To configure a decryption audit policy, go to Activity Audit > Ingress Client Audit, click Add, and select Ingress Client Audit. In the Ingress Client Audit dialog box that appears, specify Name and Description. On the Options tab, select Decryption. Configure other parameters as required, and then click OK.
The following content describes relevant parameters in detail.
• Item: Vamtoo-DSM (HuatuDSM) and IP-guard.
• Schedule: Select All Day, Office Hours, or Non-Office Hours as needed. Alternatively, click Add Schedule to add a custom schedule.
• File type: Select a file type to filter out files of the specified type. You can define a file type in System > Objects > File Type Group.
• Offline Audit: Select Enable or Disable as needed. If Enable is selected, the audit can be performed even if the Ingress Client is disconnected from the IAG device, that is, the intranet user is disconnected from the intranet.
• Attachment Audit: Select Enable or Disable as needed. If Enable is selected, the involved attachments will be synchronously logged after the audit. If Disable is selected, only the audit activity is logged.
