Athena SWG (formerly Internet Access Gateway) ensures visibility and control across the network, detecting risks like unauthorized access, non-compliant activities, and data leaks to manage endpoints.
The primary function of an endpoint check is to perform a security check and control endpoint behavior after the user accesses the endpoint.
Security inspection currently supports inspection rules such as operating system inspection, process inspection, file inspection, registry inspection, scheduled task rules, patch inspection, etc. After inspection, access is controlled according to the inspection results.
Control scenarios include external connection control, peripheral control, etc. It checks whether the endpoint has an unauthorized connection to the external network. If a violation is detected, the endpoint network card is prohibited from implementing access control, including dial-up check, wireless network card check, and external network connection check.
Configuration process
The idea that the administrator needs to configure the endpoint checking policy:
In Access Mgt > Endpoint Check > Check Rules[A66], select and configuretherules.
Configure the check policy, including the name of the policy (required), and description information (optional), select the ingress client based on the checking policy, set applicable objects, and advanced configuration.
