A customer has purchased a few Sangfor Network Secure for SDWAN networking through Sangfor VPN. After the VPN is established successfully, the IT department needs to restrict FTP server access bandwidth to around 10 Mbps due to insufficient VPN tunnel bandwidth.

6.5.2.1.1.1Configuration Process

Step 1.Make sure the Sangfor VPN tunnel has been established successfully.

Step 2.Shift to the web console page to enable the vpntun WAN attribute.

Step 3.Navigate to Policies > Bandwidth Management > Link Settings to configure the link settings, and select vpntun as the Outbound Interface.

Step 4.On the VPN Bandwidth Channels page, select the Bandwidth Channel tab. Click Add to configure the VPN bandwidth channel. Then, check the Enable checkbox. Set the expected value for the Limited channel or Guaranteed channel, and select the FTP-related application.

Step 5.Initiate FTP download for verification.

Step 6.Besides Sangfor VPN bandwidth ratio proof, clearer confirmation can be displayed in Monitor > Sessions > Bandwidth Management.
