Athena NGFW (previously known as Network Secure) provides comprehensive protection for every network perimeter, ensuring the safety of your valuable assets, data, and users from emerging threats.
Before configuring the policy, the Unauthorized Outbound Access detection feature must be enabled.
After enabling the feature, click the Add button to add the NIC Detection Policy.
Name:Fill in the name of the policy.
Description: Add the description of the policy (optional).
Applicable IPs:Enter the IP range to be scanned.
Detection Objects:Choose which types of network cards to detect, such as Multiple NICs, Wireless NICs, and 4G/5G NICs.
Detection Method:Choose either Immediate Detection or Scheduled Detection.
Advanced:
The Advanced settings mainly configure false positives and speed up scanning.
Enable detection for assets with no traffic received and sent: Sangfor Network Secure will use multiple cores to process scanning tasks, thereby speeding up the scanning process. By default, only one core is used for scanning.
NIC Detection Whitelist Settings: Whitelist false positives or unnoticed IP addresses.
