Rollback Instructions

{{ $t('productDocDetail.updateTime') }}: 2026-01-07

Rollback on the device: Choose System > Maintenance > Service Packs, find the SP, and click Rollback.

If automatic installation is set, you need to check the Install manually option in the Settings window before rollback.

1.     1. Ungrouping of clusters: N/A.

2.     2. Ungrouping of distributed nodes: N/A.

3.    3. Device restart: Not required.

4.    4. Service restart: Required (same as the upgrade).

5.    5. Impact on customers' business services: Yes (same as the upgrade).

6.     6. Ungrouping of two nodes in HA: Required.

In HA mode, the SP rollback steps are as follows:

(1) Perform manual synchronization on the active device before SP rollback.

(2) Check the synchronization report on the active device. If the synchronization is successful, continue the rollback. If it fails, locate the failure cause and resolve the configuration differences between the two devices.

(3) Back up the configuration of the active and standby devices to avoid configuration loss.

(4) If preemption is enabled, disable it on both devices to prevent active/standby switchover issues during the rollback.

(5) Unplug the service interface cable of the standby device first, then unplug the HA cable (do not disable the HA feature) before rolling back the SP.

(6) If the rollback fails, please contact a technical support representative immediately for troubleshooting. Business services are carried by the other device and are not affected.

(7) After the SP is rolled back on the standby device, connect the HA cable, then the service interface cable, click Sync Now on the active device, and view the report to check whether synchronization is completed on the active device.

(8) After synchronization is completed, perform active/standby switchover and check the service status. If synchronization fails, please follow the prompts to troubleshoot issues.

(9) If the services are normal, roll back on another device (the current standby device). Unplug the service interface cable, then the HA cable of the standby device (do not disable the HA feature), and then roll back the SP.

(10) If rollback fails, contact a technical support representative for troubleshooting.

(11) After the SP is rolled back, connect the HA cable, then the service interface cable, click Sync Now on the active device, and view the report to check whether synchronization is completed on the active device. If the synchronization fails, perform manual synchronization. If it still fails, troubleshoot issues.

(12) If the synchronization is successful, check the service status.

(13) If preemption is disabled before rollback, enable it now.
